Delwyn grew up and was educated in Taranaki, Hawkes Bay and Masterton. After leaving Wairarapa College Delwyn began working for an accounting practice in Masterton. She worked for several accountants in Masterton before becoming self-employed in partnership with her husband for ten years.

Delwyn joined Baker and Associates in 2002 in a part-time role but is now fulfilling the full-time role of Receptionist/Secretary.

Delwyn is usually the first person clients speak to when they contact Baker & Associates - she really enjoys the contact with clients, dealing with both farming and valuation enquiries.
