BIOGRAPHY

Sully grew up in Masterton where he attended Wairarapa College.

From there he spent two years at Smedley Station – a 4,500ha training farm in Tikokino, Hawkes Bay. Here he got a good practical grounding in sheep, beef, deer, cropping, and intensive beef finishing systems.

Sully completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at Massey University, specialising in farm business management, soils, and agricultural systems. During this time he worked on Wairarapa farms mainly in the Homewood area.

In August 2006 Sully was employed by Baker & Associates to take on the role of sheep and beef consultant.
